Christine Moore has been in the computer training business since 1994.  Originally operating under the name Moore Computer Training, Ms. Moore and her husband Isadore first began offering training in Business Applications software.  In 2001, the business expanded into the web development sector, and adopted the more inclusive title of Moore & Moore Computing.  The web site development aspect of the business is specifically targeted towards small businesses, non-profit firms and churches.  Even after expanding, the business has been able to continue offering on-site training to its clients.  Moore & Moore Computing remains a part-time business; Ms. Moore has not left her original profession, teaching at the college level.  While Ms. Moore, who possesses a background in business, originally began her teaching career as a professor of business management, she now teaches information technology at the College of Charleston.  It is an eventual goal to expand Moore & Moore Computing into a full-time enterprise.  The LDC was able to assist Ms. Moore with a SBA Microloan, to be used for equipment and marketing expenditures.
